Project
KeyStride
A talking typing tutor for Windows, built for people who use JAWS or ZoomText.
Overview
KeyStride teaches typing on a physical keyboard with spoken guidance at every step. It acts like a patient tutor: helpful without doing the work for you, and focused on accuracy first.
- Works with JAWS and ZoomText on Windows 10 and 11.
- Keeps each learner's progress separate, so one computer can serve a whole class.
- Runs without network access or administrator rights, to fit state and agency security rules.
- Uses one consistent way to move on everywhere, so learners are never guessing.
